The drive is quite picturesque, with glimpses of rural Kenya and the chance to spot wildlife along the way.
Alternatively, you might opt for a quicker, albeit more expensive, journey by air. There are numerous daily scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to the Mara – the flight takes about 45 minutes. Once you land at one of the airstrips in the reserve such as Keekorok, Olkiombo, Musiara, or Serena, you can arrange for your safari camp or lodge to pick you up.
