Day 1: Flight from Wilson Airport & Game Drives in Masai Mara

The Masai Mara flying safari starts with a local flight from Wilson Airport in Nairobi in the early mornings. We will pick you up from your resident or hotel in Nairobi and transfer you to Wilson to catch the scheduled flight to Masai Mara.

The flight from Nairobi to Maasai Mara takes 45 minutes. Upon landing, you will be picked by our Masai Mara professional guide and get transferred to the lodge or camp. Enjoy an en-route game drive during the transfer.

Our professional English and Swahili speaking guide will leave you at the lodge or camp for a few hours. This gives you enough time to relax, take lunch, and prepare for the afternoon game drive.

Pick up for the afternoon game viewing is at around 3pm, the perfect time since the hunters will be becoming active after the hot day. Enjoy this game drive until dusk before returning to your hotel . Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve with Packed Lunch

The Mara is a home to the Big five, and so is day two of your safari! Enjoy an early morning game drive as you drive around the reserve in search of lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffalo.

The aim is to get to the reserve early so you can witness the Mara as it comes to life. An early morning game drive soon turns into mid-morning drive, and before you know it, it is lunch time.
